WICE Logistics Public Company Limited organized the activity “Go Green with WICE – Little Waste, Big Impact” at Wat Chong Nonsi School on January 13, with the aim of promoting waste management knowledge and fostering environmental awareness among young students under the core concept “Start with Us, Change the World.”
The activity was held for 145 students from Grade 4 and Grade 5, focusing on helping children understand that caring for the environment can begin by taking action on the waste in our own hands through the concept of “Little Waste, Big Impact.” This concept encourages reducing the physical size of waste, such as flattening plastic bottles, folding cardboard boxes, or separating materials to make waste easier to manage.
This idea reflects that effective waste management starts at the smallest point. When waste is made “little,” it requires less space, is easier to store and transport, and becomes more suitable for recycling or proper disposal. By transforming “large waste” into “little waste,” major global environmental challenges can begin to be addressed through small actions around us. This approach aligns with WICE’s journey toward Net Zero, under the philosophy “Small Action, Big Impact.”
During the event, students learned through creative, fun, and easy-to-understand activities that encouraged active participation. These activities helped reinforce the idea that environmental conservation is not something distant, but something that can begin in everyday life. The event was further enlivened by WICE’s mascot, “WICEGUY,” who engaged with the students and delivered environmental knowledge through interactive play, creating a friendly and memorable learning atmosphere.
WICE believes that instilling environmental awareness from a young age will help shape positive attitudes and environmentally responsible behaviors in the long term, empowering youth to grow into key contributors to society in the future.
The “Go Green with WICE – Little Waste, Big Impact” activity is therefore not only a CSR initiative, but also an integral part of the company’s sustainability commitment—reinforcing the belief that great change can begin in the hands of each and every one of us.
