WICE Promotes Health and Sustainability Through the “BMI Challenge 3 squared” Campaign.
WICE Logistics Public Company Limited or WICE reaffirms its commitment to conducting business sustainably with a focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles through the “BMI Challenge 3 squared” campaign. The event, held from September 9 to December 9, 2024, aims to promote employee health and well-being while fostering long-term sustainability within the organization.
This Campaign’s name “BMI Challenge 3 squared” was inspired by the concept of “9 months, 9 steps to better health within 3 months,” encouraging employees to lose weight, lower their Body Mass Index (BMI), and adopt healthier behaviors for long-term health improvement.
The activities included health screenings, nutrition and exercise education, and regular progress tracking.
Reflected in the positive feedback from employees, including individual and teams challenge .The results showed that over 77% of employees saw an average reduction of 0.95 in their BMI, marking an important step in fostering a health-conscious organizational culture.
The winner in the individual category was Paweena Buranarungreuangkit, who lost 10.2 kilograms and reduced her BMI by 3.79. She said, “This campaign not only helped employees lose weight but also instilled long-term health discipline. I hope we continue to have great campaign like this.”
In the team category, the “Fat Fit Firm” team won with a total combined BMI reduction of 14.60 and a total weight loss of 35.40 kilograms. Team representative, Chotirose Riencharoen said, “Join in this campaign made employees aware of the importance of health. Additionally, the team competition created motivation and encouragement from teammates, making it a great activity for fostering positive energy.”
BMI Challenge 3 squared campaign not only promotes employee health but also addresses the social aspect of ESG, helping to create an organizational culture that cares about employees’ quality of life and supports long-term sustainability.
